Hi Loves!!

Kylie Jenner has come out with so many new things since the launch of her lip kits. She has eyeshadow palettes, eye liners, makeup bags, lip glosses etc. Her newly released palette is called the Burgundy Palette. It is very similar to the Bronze palette, that I did a review on, but it has all new shades and some new eyeshadow formulas.

  • $42
  • 9 eyeshadows ( 4 shimmers and 5 mattes)
  • Size of your hand
  • Beautiful unique packaging

Yay or Nay?

Absolutely Yay!!! I love this palette. In my opinion, Kylie hasn’t disappointed with her eyeshadow palettes. I loved the first eyeshadow palette. It has so many matte shades, that it has become a great palette to have in my makeup artist kit. The difference between the Bronze palette and this Burgundy palette is the shimmer shades. The Bronze palette has 2 shimmery eyeshadows, and they are very subtle. The 4 shimmery eyeshadows in the Burgundy palette are super high pigment, similar to a makeup geek eyeshadow. I love both palettes, but I don’t feel it’s necessary to purchase both. I have both in order to review for you guys, but you don’t really need both palettes. If you want more matte everyday shades then go with the Bronze palette. If you want more dramatic eyeshadows for a popping warm toned Fall look, then go with the Burgundy palette….

Hello Everyone!

Two well known brands have released new concealers. The concealers are very comparable in formula, so I wanted to give you guys my thoughts on both of them…

What is a concealer?

A concealer can be used in two ways: to cover up a blemish or highlight certain areas. Either way concealers are used to conceal. If you wanted to cover up a blemish on your face, you would choose a concealer close to your foundation shade. If you wanted to highlight your face, you would choose a concealer one or two shades lighter than your foundation.

Which do I prefer?

Honestly, I love both concealers once I learned how to work with them. If you have dry skin, like myself, you may not like these concealers. They are super thick, which can cause them to sink into the fine lines under the eyes. Also, they both dry super fast, which leaves you not much time to blend out. In order for me to make these work, I have to moisturize under my eyes really well and blend the concealers out with a damp beauty blender (sponge). Using a damp sponge, can help retain the moisture under my eyes and thin out the concealer. Once blended out, the concealers are beautiful, and make your under eyes look airbrushed. I recommend both concealers if you’re looking for something that will cover everything. Just keep in mind that they do dry fast so work in small sections!

Have you guys tried one of these concealers?
