The colder weather is here, therefore it is time for some dark vampy lipstick. I am all about the dark lipsticks. I think that fall time is the best way to get away with wearing a dark purple lipstick, without the people judging. But just remember it is just makeup…If you want to wear black lipstick to go get your morning coffee on a cold day, YOU CAN. Don’t let anyone tell you how you should wear makeup, always make sure to do you boo boo! Anyways, here is a few of my favorite lipsticks to wear during the colder months…
- Ulta Matte Lip Cream in Striking ($9)
I did a full review on these bomb lip creams. They are matte but not flat. This color in Striking is a deep pink color, with a hint of purple. Now this color is perfect for someone who wants to test out some dark lipsticks without jumping over to the dark side. The lipsticks are $9, but Ulta always has sales on them, where you can get them three for $9.
- Nyx Liquid Suede Cream Lipstick in Kitten Heels ($6)
The best red lipstick I own! Personally, on my skin tone, I do not like bright red lipstick. I don’t think it flatters my skin tone at all. But this one is beautiful on me. I think because it has some blueish undertones, it gives off a more toned down red. Red lipstick is just a classic holiday look to pull off, and this one is perfect. Ofcourse, I have a full review on these all ready…
- Mac Heroine Lipstick ($17)
This lipstick is a huge throwback. I think it is a must have in everyone’s makeup bag especially for darker skin tones. It is just the perfect purple, not too dark or too light.
- Amrezy Lipland Liquid Lipstick in Montenegro ($19)
Ugh! This lipstick is amazing. Amra Olevic, who is a beauty guru that is mainly known for her bomb instagram pictures, created this liquid lipstick with Lipland cosmetics. She created two other shades, but this one is by far the best. Montenegro is a darker purple compared to Mac’s Heroine. It is almost $20, but it is worth it. It goes on so smooth and once it is dry, it does not move off your lips. It is sold out right now, but it will definitely be back by popular demand.
- Nyx Liquid Suede Cream Lipstick in Stone Fox ($6)
Just like Kitten Heels above, these lipsticks have a great formula. Stone Fox can be like three colors in different lighting. It can look grey, black, and blue sometimes. It is definitely for the makeup risk takers.
- Colour Pop Liquid Lipstick in Limbo ($6)
Brown lips have been a huge trend this year. I think that they are flattering on every skin tone. This lipstick has a great formula to only be $6.
I hope you guys can get your hands on at least one of these lipsticks for fall. Let me know if you guys have tried any of them!
