I hope you all are having a great week. Colour Pop has been one of those new cosmetic lines that everyone is talking about. Not only are they affordable but they have a unique texture to their products. It’s hard to explain but their eyeshadows and even some blushes are like a bouncy texture as if they are almost wet. I didn’t swatch any of the products because they don’t come off as pigmented as they do on the face. Even though their product textures are different, I am in love with this cosmetic line and I can’t wait to buy more.
So here’s a few things that I purchased:
- Supershock shadows in the shades Nillionaire and Swan
These shadows are bomb. Nillionaire is beautiful, brown gold shimmer color. It is awesome to put over a matte eyeshadow to give it a little more BANG. Swan is a white silver shimmer color. Both of these eyeshadows are pigmented and go on the eyelid so smoothly. I would recommend using your finger with these eyeshadows just because the texture of them needs the warmth of a finger to fully get the pigmentation out.
- Supershock cheek in the shades Avalon and Quarters
Avalon is consider a highlighter, while Quarters is a blush. I am still trying to figure out how to use Avalon because it is a little dark for my skin tone in order to use it as a highlighter. But it’s a beautiful true golden color. Quarters is the perfect blush for me. It’s very similar to Cinnamon from NYX cosmetics but a little bit darker. Quarters is completely matte, while Avalon is shimmery.
- Ultra Matte Lip Lipsticks in Trap, Midi, and Limbo
Colour Pop is one of many cosmetics lines that have come out with liquid lipsticks. So of course, I had to try them. I will be doing a full review on these soon, so stay tuned…
Here’s a look using some of these products:
- Swan eyeshadow on the lid
- Midi on the lips
- Quarters as the blush
- Avalon as the highlighter (as you can see its a little dark on me)
